Blair Supply Corp. was founded in
Rochester, New York, in 1958 by Loretta Blair Simmons and
her late brother, Elwin Blair. The company began by distributing
water and sewer products and contracting its Service Division
to perform specialized work, such as large watermain taps
and pressure testing. Efforts were focused on the Municipal
market, promoting quality products and employing knowledgeable
staff.
In the early 1980's, the company purchased
a Highway Distribution Firm, to complete the "utilities"
package of marketing to the Municipal Industry. In 1996,
Blair Supply Corp. was appointed as an authorized
distributor of polyethylene pipe products for the Municipal
market.
Blair Supply Corp. now employs a
staff of 23 and operates three distribution facilities.
Our market area covers the entire State of New York, except
Lower Hudson and New York City.
Blair Supply Corp. continues to
be recognized as a leader in the Utility Distribution Industry
in New York State through its active support and involvement
of industry associations and a quality first value system
of products and services.
